Learn Mindfulness and Conflict Management Skills with Dr. Peters, Founder of Human Systems

We talk a lot about “being mindful” but what does that actually mean?

Mindfulness is the choice to engage in non-judgmental awareness of the present moment. The principles of mindfulness, thousands of years old, can still work in our lives today. Research shows that practicing mindfulness regularly can bring us serenity, physical and emotional health, spiritual growth, and healthier and more fulfilling relationships. The principles of mindfulness can be used to resolve conflicts within ourselves and with others. Mindfulness practice is also fully supportive of the principles of 12-step recovery.

How can Human Systems support mindfulness and conflict resolution?

With Human Systems’ mindfulness training and tools, participants can learn to:

  • Be in the present moment.
  • Be physically, emotionally, and spiritually aware.
  • Accept self, others, and our changing environment.
  • Practice compassion for self and others.
  • Integrate new knowledge to experience spiritual growth.

With Human Systems’ conflict management training and tools, participants can learn to:

  • Create self-awareness around emotions and needs.
  • Build empathy for others.
  • Apply principles and values to a conflict, to ensure growth-oriented thinking and behavior.
